Health Services: A Collaboration with East Bay Perinatal Medical Associates

Through our relationship with East Bay Perinatal Medical Associates, we provide "one-stop" access to the healthcare system, and our clients benefit from high-quality pregnancy care and health education.

Women who are pregnant or thinking about pregnancy must learn how to care for themselves and their babies. The health education we provide teaches women about self-care before and after delivery, as well as baby care, parenting, family planning, and preventing sexually transmitted diseases. Our Health Educator offers one-to-one instruction each time a client comes to our clinic for pregnancy testing or prenatal care. She also provides women in need with necessary baby care items and makes referrals to other community services. Clients tell us they appreciate the personal attention, timely service, and respect they receive from our Health Educator and staff.

Our professional medical staff includes nurse practitioners and Certified Perinatal Health Workers. We refer clients who need additional medical services to specialists with East Bay Perinatal Medical Associates.

By safeguarding women's health and helping them become more competent, self-reliant mothers, we also help ensure the health, safety, and welfare of their newborn children.
