The Perinatal Council's short- and long-range goals and objectives are a reflection of a new emphasis on strategic visioning and planning. We believe these targets are attainable, but only if we continually reach beyond our current grasp, seeking new and inventive ways to deliver and fund the services so desperately needed by children and those who care for them.

Our long-range visions are to:

• Become a local catalyst for systemic change through our alliances and affiliations with other providers
  
  
• Purchase our own branch facilities throughout our service areas
  
  
• Provide essential services supporting children and those who care for them in all communities in which we have a presence
  
  
• Turn every branch office into a Family Resource Center



• Become nationally known as an exemplary provider of services that support children and families

To achieve our vision, we have set the following goals for the year 2001:

• Develop a strategic business plan



• Expand our funding base



• Double our revenue from unrestricted donations



• Implement a comprehensive marketing program



• Institute Agency Outcomes Reporting



• Expand our volunteer program



• Purchase the Fruitvale office
